Madame's essence

Located in a quiet and historical street of the Left Bank of Paris, the Villa Madame is a hotel that still possesses the privacy and poesy of a private mansion.
The Villa Madame owes this singular soul to the trust of the owners, Gilles Delfau and Thérèse Tafanel in the taste and creativity of the interior designer, Michel Jouannet.
Imagine a chic contemporary decor in two shades of pastel creating a unique, unpretentious unique and warm feeling of luxury. The Madame's personality expresses itself with details full of femininity.

A King's romantic present

The Villa Madame is etched in the history of rue Madame, that the future Louis XVIII offered to his wife "Madame", arie-Josèphe Louise de Savoie. An honourable pension was built at number 44 rue Madame, in the 19th century.

The Briton, Helen Davenport Gibbons, stayed there in 1909 and reflected upon this in her work, Paris Vistas: "Liberté, égalité, fraternité were realities in the rue Madame (…) We hope the pension will not disappear or will  not be converted into too grand a hotel. For us it is a Paris Landmark."

History proved the writer and her hopes right. In 1945, the pension became a hotel which, to this day, pampers its clients. Through changes to the site, there's been a common denominator: sharing, equity and Parisian authenticity.
